since 2018 and continuing in 2024 our team at studio machteld oosterbaan has been remodeling one of antigua´s oldest

and most well-known hotels: PORTA hotel.

the hotel has a lot of history and a lot of charm, and our challenge was to maintain this charming colonial feel while

updating the outdated rooms and restaurant area.
